Thanks for visiting my newly updated site! While this used to mainly be my blog for my food Instagram account, @thegastronomicju, I’ve now updated the site to reflect more about my newly formed business, @theuppereastsidecookieco.

The Upper East Side Cookie Co. is my latest business venture, specializing in handmade, hand-decorated custom cookies. I’ve always had a passion for cookie decorating, and now I have finally decided to turn my art into a side business.

In terms of my blog, while I will still continue to share all the same content that was previously posted on The Gastronomic Ju, I wanted a place where my customers could go to see cookie examples, place orders, etc., and figured that this site would be a good place to do it! I also will be posting a lot of cookier tips and tricks and how to’s to get started with cookie decorating.

I’m a 23 year old post college graduate currently living in NYC. I’ve never had a blog before (and I’m not quite sure how I feel about pouring out my heart and soul to the Internet), but I thought I’d give it a shot!

I’m pretty much using this blog as a supplement to my already active food Instagram account, @thegastronomicju and to have a home base for my cookie business, @uppereastsidecookieco. I plan to post a little bit more content on here than I do on the Gastronomic Ju Instagram, and also to provide recipe/more info on the food I post. In terms of cookies, I’ll be providing a gallery with my recent projects and a page where you can easily place an order for product.
